What Is Field Target?
Field Target is a competitive way of shooting knock down targets outdoors using an air rifle in woodland or open fields.
We meet weekly at our woodland range where we can practice, relax and enjoy a morning shooting targets. Whether you want to take part in some of the activities or just have a plink, all new or experienced safe shooters are welcome.
We have a single-person bench with its own range that members can use for setting up their rifles. However, as a predominant FT club, most shooting takes place ‘off the bag’ (sat on a beanbag or cushion).
We have a full plink (practice area) with knock down targets as well as a permanent course in the woodland for those that want to have a change of scenery.
