As usual, we were part of the CSFTA regional winter league which takes place between October 2025 and March 2026 over 6 rounds.
The weather has been a challenge, with either wind, rain or both! For the Frobury round in October 2025, we were fortunate enough to have a dry day and in 2025 we held the competition completely in the open (we are the only club in the region able to do this). With no trees to shield you from the wind, it was a testing shoot to see how much you needed to aim ‘off kill’ (your aim point is xx distance to the left or right of the target), but we hope that everyone enjoyed the challenge!
With one round left to go we will see how we performed individually and as a team. The league enables you to ‘drop’ your two lowest scores from the six rounds so you often don’t know where you will finish in relation to everyone else. Watch this space!
